Minister Bayraktar Holds Key Meetings in Erzincan
Minister Alparslan Bayraktar conducted a series of visits in Erzincan, meeting with local authorities including the Erzincan Governorship, Municipality, and the AK Party Provincial Headquarters. He participated in the AK Party Vefa Iftar, joining current and former MPs, provincial chairpersons, and many party members. The event also saw the attendance of AK Party Deputy Chairman and Yalova MP Ahmet Büyükgümüş, AK Party Organisation Deputy Chairman and Ankara MP Kurtcan Çelebi, and Erzincan MP Süleyman Karaman.
Emphasis on National Unity Amid Global Uncertainty
During his speech at the iftar programme, Minister Bayraktar addressed the challenges of an increasingly unpredictable world. He stated, “In a period marked by high levels of uncertainty, we need a Turkey that has reinforced its internal front and stands together in unity.”
Turkey’s Response to Crises
Speaking at the AK Party Provincial Headquarters, Bayraktar pointed to the numerous global and regional crises experienced over the past five to six years. He noted, “Despite these major challenges, Turkey remains resilient thanks to the prudent and decisive leadership of our President and the dedicated efforts of the AK Party team. Even as we face new difficulties, I believe Turkey will emerge even stronger.”
Plans for the İliç Gold Mine
Minister Bayraktar also shared updates on the İliç gold mine, a significant site for Erzincan and Turkey. “We are moving towards restarting operations at the mine, which will provide employment for thousands of people. We are committed to reopening it as soon as possible, ensuring all environmental precautions are in place,” he said.
