Türkiye Launches 4th Term Applications for ÜNİDES Program with 120 Million TL Support

Ankara – Türkiye’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, announced that applications for the fourth term of the ÜNİDES (Student Clubs Cooperation and Support Program) have begun. The program, run by the General Directorate of Youth Services, provides financial support for projects developed by university student clubs, with a total of 120 million TL allocated for this term.

Strong Interest from University Students

The ÜNİDES program, implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support university student initiatives, has garnered significant attention. In the first three terms, 2,112 projects received funding, totaling 137 million 250 thousand TL in financial support.

Minister Bak emphasized the program’s success, stating, “We are pleased to see such high participation from university students in ÜNİDES. We believe this initiative greatly contributes to the development of our youth. As the Ministry, we will continue to provide opportunities for young people, the guarantors of our future, to realize their dreams.”

Applications Open Until April 15

University students can submit their applications online via genclikhizmetleri.gov.tr until April 15, 2025. The program aims to encourage youth participation in social, cultural, and academic fields, while also fostering productivity and a sense of responsibility.

Support for 10 Different Project Areas

ÜNİDES offers funding for student club projects in various fields, including:

  • Science and Technology
  • Fine Arts
  • Sports and Healthy Living
  • Personal and Social Development
  • Collaboration Programs
  • Capacity Building
  • Accessibility Projects
  • International Studies
  • Professional Development Activities
  • Agriculture and Technologies

Local projects can receive up to 50,000 TL, while national projects are eligible for up to 100,000 TL in funding.

Minister Bak expressed gratitude to all applicants and contributors, saying, “We thank everyone involved in this initiative, including our ministry staff and university administrators.”

With its expanding scope and increasing budget, ÜNİDES continues to empower Türkiye’s youth by turning their innovative ideas into reality.
