Answering reporters’ questions on his way out of the mosque, President Erdoğan, in response to a question regarding a potential U.S. visit, said: “We have not set a date for the U.S. visit yet. But in the meantime, both our Minister of Foreign Affairs and our Minister of Trade can hold talks or pay a visit to the U.S. Issues of tariffs and relevant configurations, raised recently, could be the main items on the agenda of a possible visit. We hope to see and ensure the implementation of their positive approach towards Türkiye.”
Asked about the goal of terror-free Türkiye, President Erdoğan stated that at the moment, the process regarding the terror-free Türkiye continues as they have planned, and that each passing day developments in favor of Türkiye and the region take place.
